Customised Companionship
Every individual is unique. With our personalised approach to companionship, it is our aim to create a warm, friendly environment allowing meaningful connections to be made, relationships to blossom and loneliness to be alleviated. We match each client with a Companion who has shared interests to encourage strong rapport. How do we achieve this? We take time and care to discuss every client's unique needs and preferences during your discovery chat. ✔️ Together we complete questionnaire forms designed with the right questions to get to know you better. ✔️We use our experience, judgement and knowledge of our team's strengths to match you to the ideal Companion. ✔️ After a settling period and at regular intervals we will ask for your feedback to check if adjustments are needed.
Engaging Activities
We encourage our clients to take part in a range of activities suited to their unique preferences and abilities, aimed at promoting mental stimulation and physical well-being. Whether it's a leisurely stroll, playing games, or pursuing hobbies, our companions facilitate activities that bring fun and fulfillment.
Practical Assistance
In addition to companionship, we provide practical support to assist with daily tasks and errands, ensuring that the elderly can lead a comfortable and independent life. From changing light bulbs and cleaning those hard to reach places, to support with correspondence, emails and IT, with everything in between, our Companions are happy to help.
Accompanied Transport
For those for whom it's possible, we love to help our clients get out of the home when they can. We are able to drive and escort clients, to attend events, community groups or meet with friends. We're also there to assist with shopping or attending appointments.
Community Re-engagement
We are strong believers in community. Ageing can often lead to leaving the home infrequently. This can be due many reasons: -Lack of opportunity - Disability - Being unable to drive or lack of transport - Loss of confidence - Loss of loved ones or friends This increased isolation can be hugely debilitating in itself, having a detrimental effect on mental wellbeing and enjoyment of life. So we make it our mission to encourage our clients back to the the community if they've become detached. This might be by joining local events , trying a class at a local community day centre, or even aiding them to get out their the local shops for themselves, where interacting with others comes part and parcel.
Family Respite
We understand the challenges faced by families caring for elderly loved ones. Our service can provide much needed respite to family and caregivers, providing them the opportunity to take a break while ensuring their loved ones are in the company of a caring and reliable Companion.
